What you need:
Java. Usually an update will be enough if needed.
To open the file, you will need to extract them. ZIPs should be possible to extract without an extra program. (example, rightclick then extract/unpack - if this does not work then opening the ZIP through a program might help). For RAR and 7Z, you will need a program like WinRAR or 7-Zip. Make sure that the download completes normally, otherwise you may miss some files necessary for the shimeji to run properly.

Commands:
When you run the shimeji, a little triforce icon will appear on your lower right near the computer clock. When you wish to choose a command, rightclick on it once.

1. Add another
2. Come here!
3. Leave only one
4. Bring back Internet Explorer window (also MSN)
5. Bye
